Merlin/Motion Group raises EUR 500m

Muhoozi & Co. Advocates has advised Motion Acquisition Limited Group, including Legoland ApS, on Ugandan issues in connection with new financing through a bonds issue totalling EUR 500,000,000 senior secured 2025 notes. The bonds were issued by the Luxembourg company Motion Finco S.à.r.l.

Muhoozi & Co. Advocates fulfilled the role of Ugandan legal advisor. Italy, Germany, Ireland, and Canada were also, in addition to Luxembourg, Uganda, the UK, and the USA, involved in the transaction, where Muhoozi & Co. Advocates offices in Italy and Germany provided assistance as well.
